I'm a professional graphic designer based in the East Bay Area of California. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Graphic Design from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in 1992 and I've been in the creative field ever since. I began my career at a small graphic design agency in the Central Valley of California, where I created logos, ads, brochures and much more. I was involved in the full creative process; from initial client meetings, brainstorming sessions and design, to press checks and sometimes hand delivering the finished printed items. A few years later I took a chance, switched gears and entered the video game industry. My main focus was creating user interfaces for Playstation 2 and PC games, but I also learned new skills such as 3d modeling, texture mapping and motion graphics. It was an interesting time, but eventually I transitioned to web design. The World Wide Web offers a whole new set of interesting problems to solve and I thrive on the challenge of helping clients communicate their message in the virtual marketplace. I enjoy having a versatile and wide range of capabilities because it keeps me motivated and involved in solving problems with different methods.
