Co-branded Takeovers
Advertisers could "takeover" the Xfire website and highlight product launches, game
releases, or other events.
This required coordinating with outside advertising teams to create themed versions of the website. Special takeovers included an interactive takeover for the Electronic Arts game Battlefield 2, which allowed users to switch between a standard themed mainpage and a "nightvision" mode.
Clients included: Dodge, Electronic Arts, T-Mobile, Nvidia, Activision and Paramont Pictures.
